In-Character Information
Name: Hayami Tsurumasa
Series: Inazuma Eleven GO
Canon-Point: Episode 34, prior to Genei's match.
History: Allll right here.
Personality:
Hayami is the token pessimist of the team; he's notorious for his depressive slumps and negative remarks, as well as seeing the bad side of things before they even happen. He's been changing up until his canon point, however - so he's not that bad! He no longer goes straight for the negative when something big is about to happen - you don't know who's going to win without playing, right? - and he's more upbeat. Though he's still prone to going negative if things start going the wrong way, so sometimes he needs to be pulled back by someone more positive than himself. Of course, his pessimism isn't the only down to his personality; he's easy to annoy or irritate, and can be very snarky or sarcastic when rubbed the wrong way; for example, when he's pushed and questioned by Tenma, who eventually asked if he was considering quitting the club: it gets a derisive sounding scoff from Hayami and an unamused eyebrow quirk as he replies, "Quit? I would have done that by now if I had the courage to". To go along with that, actually - Hayami is easy to scare or send into a panic. All you need to do is shout at him, and he leaps feet in the air in fear. He's the kind of person to freeze in place when panicking, too; withdrawing to think to himself and try to figure things out while everything rushes around him. It's easy to get him to snap out of it, however, and he's been able to do it to himself before.
Of course, that's not all there is to him, too. Despite being an introvert, Hayami isn't shy in the slightest bit: he loves to talk and hang out with a large group of friends, and he's the one who suggests things like heading to the public baths, or everyone going to someone else's place for a video game tournament. He just likes his peace and quiet a lot, that's all; when he's tired of being social, he'll retreat, and no one really minds it. Hayami's also prone to bouts of smugness and loudness himself! If he feels he knows what he's talking about, he'll act like he knows everything about it; even shoving others out of the way so he can speak, or shushing them so he can be heard, all while he has a high and mighty look on his face. Above all of this, though, Hayami is a friendly and warm person; he loves spending time with others and making sure they're okay, and he puts their needs before his own as often as he can.
Powers:
He’s capable of using Hissatsu Techniques - special shots or blocks used in soccer - and there’s nothing saying they can’t use them off the field.
He's only ever shown using one, though - Zeroyon, his signature dribble Hissatsu. It's basically a huge burst of speed, used to blow past an opponent and knock them away, and is done like he's running a 0.4 meter dash - hence "zero yon" or 04.
However! Everyone in the Inazuma universe is capable of creating new Hissatsu techniques whenever they want, and they're also capable of adapting ones already created; they're also capable of passing techniques along to others for their use.
... Of course, since the 20% thing is in effect, his Zeroyon is most likely going to act as a fast burst of acceleration and that's it, rather than literally blowing the opponents away and sending him to his top speed.
Starter Pokemon: Shelmet

First-Person Sample:
... Um. [Hayami pauses, and fixes his glasses.]
Sorry if I'm interrupting anyone's... anything, but I need a few questions. I guess.
I-I'm not used to everything taking so long; is it really going to take hours across some of the bridges?
And even the short routes take a long time, too... They weren't this long in the game at all...
Though, I guess it makes a little sense, since we're not all six pixels in height.
[Even though he's sure he'd be more like... maybe ten pixels. But that's beside the point!]
U-um - just -
If anyone has any information, I'd appreciate it! Thank you! [A little bow, and he shuts off the feed. Well... if it really takes so long, it can't be helped.]
Third-Person Sample:
He had to pinch himself at fist, when he finally realized what was sitting in front of him as he knelt down. A Pokemon - a real life Pokemon - was standing on its two, little feet; looking up at him with affection, like it expected him to be his trainer, of all people. A Shelmet in all its glory, giving him a cute little kissing face... Hayami thought surely, he must be dreaming. "H-hey there, little guy... Are you looking for your trainer?" Which, he hopes, is an easy enough question for the Pokemon. It lets out a little trill in response though, toddling towards him and giving his knee a little kiss. It can't be true - this can't really be his Pokemon, can it...!? Such a cute one - h-he's not sure what to do...! ... Well - all he can really think to do is give it some sort of affection in return, picking it up and holding the Bug Pokemon in his arms.
... His own Pokemon adventure, just like the games he's played since he was little. Surely, he must be dreaming.
